Salary

R182 551.52 – R204 275.65/ R204 275.65- R240 859.88 p.a. (C2/C3)(plus 10% scarce skills allowance subject to certain conditions)

Qualifications/ Requirements

  National Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification

  Eligible for registration with ECSA in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 1990

  Experience  in  Transportation  Planning  and  Road  Safety  would  be  an advantage

  Computer  application  knowledge  and  experience  in  MS  Projects,  MS Word, Excel and Power Point

  3  years  relevant  post  qualification  experience  will  be  a  prerequisite  for appointment as a Senior Technician at C3 level

  Code EB driver’s license.

  Responsible  for  the  planning  and  monitoring  of  transport  services  including traffic management, public transport and road safety

  Preparation of estimates and programming of works 

  Contract administration and supervision, monitoring of expenditure
