SALARY : Commencing R252 144 per annum
All inclusive R 332 814 per annum
CENTRE : Compensation Fund: Pretoria
REQUIREMENTS : A relevant NQF Level six qualification in IT Auditing, Auditing or equivalent. Two to
three years relevant functional experience and performing in a management
position. Statutory Body Requirements: Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) or
Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). Knowledge:
Knowledge of Internal Audit Charter, Thorough knowledge of Treasury
Regulations, Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, General knowledge
of the Public Service Regulations, White paper on Public Service Management
and Budgeting Reforms, Knowledge of Labour Relation Act, Standards for
institute of Internal Auditors, Public Audit Act, Strategic management, King II
Report. Skills: Analytical, Innovative, Communication, Interpersonal Relations,
Stress Management, Project Management, Management and Financial
Management.
DUTIES : Conduct IT audits in accordance with the approved methodology and ISACA and
Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards. Assist with IT risk assessments.
Prepare and review system descriptions, work papers, audit findings and compile
a draft report for the Deputy Director’s review. Provide input to strategic
documentation of the Internal Audit Unit. Monitor the implementation and
adherence to audit recommendations. Liaise with relevant stakeholders for
benchmarking the best practices in IT Auditing. Conduct advocacy campaign on
audit functions to promote awareness on good governance.
