REQUIREMENTS : A three year tertiary qualification in Social Service or relevant qualification and
two years functional experience. Driver’s license. Knowledge: ILO Conventions,
Social Plan Guidelines, Human Resource Management, Financial Management,
Immigration Act, Employment Service Act, Unemployment Insurance Act,
Compensation of Occupational Injuries diseases Act, PFMA, Public Service Act,
Skills Development Act. Skills: Planning and organising, Negotiation, Analytical 50
Skills, Report writing skills, Computer Skills, Interpersonal, Communications
Leadership, Presentation, Networking
DUTIES : Networking with stakeholders to acquire placement opportunities for work
seekers. registered by the Labour Centre. Process requests for labour migration
and advise on the ability of skills. Process applications for registration and
licensing of PEA’s. Ensure referral of work seekers to training and monitor training
interventions for the unemployed.
