Qualifications/ Requirements
Grade 10 and 18 months experience in road marking and signs
Ability to work off working plans and drawings
A valid Code B driver’s license with PrDP
Ability to communicate in English
Key Performance Area
Allocate daily tasks to workers e.g. road signs to be erected, repairs to be carried out by giving verbal instructions
Ensure that the work has been carried satisfactorily
Ensure safety of site by checking that safety equipment and warning signs are correctly positioned
Resolve on-site problems, materials ordered and delivered, correct use of equipment, painting in correct places, signs erected by liaison with staff
Conduct daily inspections to ensure that workshop, change rooms, store and vehicles are kept in a safe and clean condition
Ensure that operations and procedures are promptly attended to and the required support made available to enable the rendering/ provisions of a quality service
