POST 21/70 : DEPUTY DIRECTOR: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (CLAIMS) REF NO: HR 5/1/2/3/9

SALARY : All inclusive: R495 603 per annum
CENTRE : Compensation Fund, Pretoria
REQUIREMENTS : A three year B degree in Accounting. Six to seven years accounting experience
in a large organisation of which three years should have been spent at
management level, Experience in medical insurance industry or pension fund
administration is highly recommended, Experience in SAP and working with new
technology will be advantageous. Knowledge: ,Public Service, Department of
Labour and Compensation Fund business strategies and goals, Directorate / sub-
directorate goals and performance requirements, Compensation Fund Services,
Compensation Fund Value Chain and business processes, Public Service,
Department of Labour and Fund regulations, Policies and procedures, Relevant
stakeholders, Customer Service (Batho Pele Principles), Fund Values, Required
IT knowledge, Fund IT Operating Systems, Technical Knowledge, DPSA
guidelines on COIDA. Skills: Required Technical proficiency, Business Writing

DUTIES : Manage the effective daily operation of the directorate. Develop and maintain
management reporting system. Provide efficient payment system in the fund.
Implement strategic and operational plan. Manage directorate / sub-directorate
finances and assets. Manage Resources and staff. Manage projects and
programmes.
