The above-mentioned vacancy exists in the Finance Cluster, City Fleet Unit, and Systems and
Compliance Department.
Qualification (Essential): A relevant Information Technology qualification. Code B Driving license.
Experience (Essential): 3years relevant experience in the design and maintenance of databases.
Computer literacy. Preferred: 4 years relevant experience in the design and maintenance of databases.
Special Conditions: 24 Hour Standby-Necessary to work after hours.
Duties Include: Co-ordinates technical and operational procedures related to real time data resource
management from the Bus Services and Operations Monitoring systems through participation in the
process of the development or modification of databases using the Enterprise Resource System
capabilities and Data Definition Language, maintaining the data dictionary containing metadata,
monitoring database performance, enforcing standards for database use and security and providing
support to end users on data interrogation applications in order to ensure data is effectively managed
contributing to efficient accessibility and continuous availability of accurate information.
