MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
·         S4 National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (HC and/or LC) or equivalent Technical Qualification (N or T Stream)
·        Switching Course with recognized institution (Eskom; eThekwini; etc)
·        Authorized to operate to up to 11 kV Networks
·        Valid Code EB driver’s license
·        Computer Literacy
·        Good communication and supervisory skills
·        Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
·        2 years’ relevant experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Maintain, commission, diagnose complex faults and repair Protection, Metering and DC Equipment in accordance with standards, procedures, directives, work practice, guidelines, policies and service agreements.
·     Co-ordinate the protection setting and configuration activity for protection relays and schemes
·        Testing of Power Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Switchgears, CT`s, VT`s, Reclosers.
·        Attending to routine and general administrative tasks as requested by Seniors
