SAA is currently recruiting Cabin Crew Members to be resposible for the comfort, safety and security of customers on board.

The Incumbent of this role is responsible for the following:

• To ensure the onboard safety of our customers and provide a 5 star Customer experience on-board in line with SAA Customer Services Standards.
• To resolve all conflict and disputes for our customers on all flights.
• To assist in promoting and protecting the Corporate Brand and ensuring the company’s image is upheld.

Key Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification at NQF level 4
• Relevant diploma / degree at NQF level 5 will be an advantage
• Fluency in English is essential
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must be able to swim
• A minimum height of 1.58m required
• A maximum body mass index of 25 for Females and 28 for Males
• CCM qualified (SACAA qualification) may be an advantage
• Current and Valid medical (DD50) may be an advantage
• A minimum of 2 – 3 years commercial experience in a hospitality industry with customer value chain/operations will be an advantage

Knowledge and Skills

• Ensure cost containment measures are practiced on-board
• Conduct Duty Free Sales on-board in all international flights
• Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Planning and Organising skills
• Listening skills
• Excellent communication skills(verbal and written)
