Sappi is offering opportunities to matriculated candidates who are interested in obtaining workplace experience in the Paper Making Industry as an Intern. This is a wonderful opportunity for matriculates to secure an entry level position in which we will be able to provide you with workplace training lasting 12 – 18 months.
Interns must be prepared to assist with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:  the cutting of wires off paper bales, cleaning and dusting off of machine panels, sweeping and hosing floors, the pulling and/or feeding of broke (off cuts of paper), strapping and stencilling of paper reels, assisting at various sections in the paper mill as they learn the paper making process.
Whether you’re mild or wild at heart, you could have what it takes to work in forestry. Sappi is a producer of coated woodfree paper which is used in publications such as annual reports, catalogues, brochures and magazines.

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric with subjects Maths and Science
