Advert Details:
The Standard Bank Specialised Sales Learnership is a learnership programme targeted at different roles within Specialised Sales in Standard Bank. We are looking for candidates in Gauteng, 
KwaZulu Natal and Western Cape Only.

It is an 18 month intensive programme that consists of theoretical training together with practical workplace training.
Candidates are given an opportunity to work towards a formal qualification in Banking. This means that on successful completion of the 18 month programme, learners will receive a SAQA recognised NQF 5 qualification and an opportunity to be a part of the Standard Bank Specialised Sales team.

Learners Allowance
Successful candidates will receive a learnership allowance of R12 000.

Requirements:
The candidate must:
  • Be between the ages of 21-30
  • Be able to speak, read and write English
  • Have completed a 3 year Financial related qualification (degree/diploma).
  • Be computer literate
  • Not be permanently employed
  • Not be studying at any educational institution
  • Not be registered on any other learnership
The Recruitment Process:
  1. Closing date for applications is 9 January 2015
  2. Anticipated start date of the programme is 1 March 2015
  3. Candidates must have a valid email address as all correspondence will be done via email.
  4. Candidates will be required to complete relevant online assessments.
  5. Please allocate 20-30 minutes to complete the online assessment.
  6. The following checks will be conducted:
    • Register for Employees Dismissed (RED) checks;
    • Credit and criminal record checks;
    • Reference checks with previous employers;
    • Verification of educational qualifications;
    • Proof of South African citizenship/South African residency/work permit.
