MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  Grade 12 or Std 10 certificate
  National Diploma/Degree in Information Technology

RECOMMENDATION:

  Driver’s License
  A minimum of 2 year’s experience in data/information management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, TRAINING AND COMPETENCES REQUIRED:

  Strong; sound communication skills
  Ability to understand statistics/information aspects and to compile into meaning graphic
presentation
  High level of commitment, dedication and accuracy
  Ability to compare strategic and transformation objectives with report results
  Supervisory and presentation skills

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
  Coordinating the collection of quality data and the maintenance of the institutions Health And
Management Information Database 
  KINDLY RETURN ALL DOCUMENTATION WHEN REPLYING

  Analyzing and interpreting data/information
  Provide feedback of information through both summary and comprehensive reports to
management
  Having mechanisms in place to improve quality of Information Technology and system related
needs
  Training and development of support staff
  Ensure that monthly statistics/data/information is timeously submitted to the District Office.
  Participate in institutional management meetings and the relevant forums
  Implement information projects that require correlation and manipulation of data
  Provide advice towards management and heads of departments with regards to information
technology and system related needs. E.g. completion of standardized forms and the use of
registers and IT policy issues
  Putting mechanisms in place to improve the quality of information received
  Supervising and training of staff including data capturers
  Convene data/information management and review meetings
  Ensure that the quarterly report deadlines are met.
