The above mentioned vacancy exists in the Regional Centres Unit of the Governance and International
Relations Cluster.
Qualifications (Essential): Relevant 3 year Tertiary Qualification e.g. (Local Economic Development).
Valid motor vehicle drivers licence (Code B or EB). Preferred: None.
Experience (Essential): 3 years relevant experience. Computer literacy. Preferred: 4 years relevant
experience.
Duties Include: Co-ordinates key applications associated with the implementation, monitoring and
reporting of the effectiveness of Local Economic Development initiatives, programmes and projects
related to the upliftment and improvement of local economic conditions through facilitative, interactive
and evaluation processes that supports understanding of needs, capacity building and participation and
ownership of initiatives culminating in sustainable ways to meet social, economic and material
requirements and, improve quality of life.
