The above mentioned vacancy exists in the Development Planning, Environment and Management
Unit of the Economic Development & Planning Cluster.
Qualifications Essential: Relevant 3 years tertiary qualification. Valid motor vehicle drivers licence (Code
B). Preferred: Diploma/degree in Town and Regional Planning or allied discipline from a recognised
institution.
Experience Essential: 3 years relevant experience in the assessment of development and building plans.
Good communications and customers interface experience. Computer literacy.
Preferred: 4 years relevant experience including interpretation of building plans of a large scale and
complex nature from a National Building Regulations and Town Planning perspective.
Duties Include: To provide a customer focused building development and land use advisory service.
